G4AYM Visit to Filton Aerospace Museum

On 4th June 2023 we went on a trip to the Aerospace Museum at, what was, Filton Airport. The museum has aircraft and exhibits from the first and second world wars and the cold war as well as exhibits showing Britain's missile and space work.

Our visit was fortunate to coincide with an exhibit showing a full sized replica of the Beagle II that landed on Mars plus the actual Shaun the Sheep that circled the moon.

However, in many members minds, the major exhibit is a Concord supersonic aircraft.
