Awards at the 2025 Annual General Meeting

A number of club awards were handed out at our Annual General Meeting of September 1st 2025.

Alan (G4LEN) came first in our 6 metre Winter Challenge and was awarded the G3MA Trophy.

For her support of the construction evenings, Anne (2E1GKY) was awarded a Gares Shield.

Richard (M0HNK) was also awarded a Gares Shield for his support of the construction evenings.

Alex (2E0JID) was awarded the Stan Cook Shield for his first place in the Basic section of the construction competition.

Jim (2E0GKN) was awarded the Kingscote Shield and a £10 voucher for his first place in the Advanced section of the construction competition.

Long running website curator Cliff (G8CQZ) was awarded the Morgan Key.

Vernon (G0HTO) was awarded the Merit Shield for his innovative construction evenings and his dedication in running them.
He was also awarded the DF Shield as the runner up in our DF Hunts.
Vernon was not at the AGM and so we do not have a photograph of him receiving his awards.

Gary (M0XAC) was awarded the Direction Finding Cup for winning the DF Hunts. Gary was at the AGM but, as he was presenting the awards, he refused to be photographed shaking hands with himself
