CW Contest: 17th July 2016
For the second year in a row a team from Gares entered the low power field day cw contest from Chris, M0OLO's, house in Newnham. Last year we used the call sign G4AYM/P . This year we used G2HX/P which was obtained earlier in the year for use by the club. G2HX was originally the call sign of Lionel Owen Rogers a long time club member no longer with us and it is a fitting memorial for him.
Propagation this year was dire so we did not do as well as the previous year but it was still a fun day.
